Hi,

I’ve been thinking about how heavy certain seasons can feel. Sometimes it’s like the weight doesn’t lift, like joy has forgotten your name, like nothing you try is enough to bring light back in.

But here’s the truth I keep coming back to: feelings move. They shift, they change, they pass. Even the ones that feel endless.

Poem:

It Will Pass

Just because you don’t feel happy right now

doesn’t mean happiness won’t find you again.

Just because you don’t feel hopeful right now

doesn’t mean hope won’t find you again.

Just because you don’t feel inspired right now

doesn’t mean inspiration will never find you again.

Just because you don’t feel loved right now

doesn’t mean love won’t find you again.

And just because your heart feels heavy right now

doesn’t mean it will always feel this way.

What you’re feeling right now is not forever.

It is a part of your journey,

but it is not your whole story.

The truth is, life will meet you again. Happiness, hope, love, inspiration — they all circle back, even when you’ve forgotten what they feel like. Hold on. Your story is still being written.

Poems I’ll Never Post

P.S. My book Tears of the Soul is out now. It’s a collection of poems that speak to moments just like this — the ones that feel unbearable, and the ones that remind you to keep going. You can get your copy here: https://getbook.to/TearsOfTheSoul.

If it resonates, I’d be so grateful if you left a review here: https://myreview.to/TearsOfTheSoul.
