Hi,
Poem (not really a poem this time around BUT!):
Sometimes we carry habits and quirks we call flaws. But psychology shows us they’re not flaws at all they’re evidence of being deeply human.
If you replay arguments in your head, it shows your fear of saying the wrong thing and your longing to be understood.
If you daydream about futures that may never happen, it’s your mind practicing hope in advance.
If you cry during movies, even when no one else does, it reflects your ability to mirror emotions and carry the weight of someone else’s story.
If you can’t fall asleep without music or background noise, it’s your nervous system searching for comfort in chaos.
If you scroll too long at night, it’s not just distraction it’s your unspoken need to feel less alone in the dark.
None of these things make you broken.
They make you human, messy, tender, alive.
Sometimes I think we’re all just carrying little signals of who we are, hoping someone will notice and say, “me too.”
What’s one small “quirk” you’ve always thought made you strange?
Talk soon,
