Hi,

I want to share something from my upcoming book Tears Of The Soul.

Poem:

What You See Isn’t Always What You Get

Sometimes,
the kindest soul you’ll ever meet
has smoke on their breath
and trembling hands
from years of learning how to survive.

And sometimes,
the cruelest person in the room
knows all the verses,
bows their head in prayer,
and leaves no space for grace.

Goodness doesn’t always wear a clean face.
It doesn’t always speak softly
or dress the way you expect.

Some people carry light
in the most unexpected ways—
in the way they sit with your pain
without trying to fix it,
in the way they show up
when no one’s watching.

And others hide behind
what looks like virtue,
but feels like control.
Like judgment in disguise.

So be careful where you place your trust.
Not every halo is honest.
And not every sinner
is a villain in the end.

Update on my book

Hey everyone, this poem is from my new book Tears Of The Soul. I’ve been working on this project for a long time—long nights, countless rewrites, and curating every single poem until it felt complete.

The book will most likely release next week or the week after. Inside are rich, deep pieces about love, heartbreak, healing, and wisdom. It’s the kind of work I’ve been holding close for a while, and I think you’ll definitely connect with it.

Here in the newsletter, I’ll keep sharing:

  • Random poems I write in the moment

  • Pieces from the book

  • Pages from my book

If you’re as excited as I am, stay tuned. This book has been years in the making, and I can’t wait for you to finally read it.
